Global Watch List

The Global Watch List process runs an automated, exhaustive search across hundreds of international sanctions lists, law enforcement agency bulletins (such as OFAC and Interpol), and global financial restriction records. Its goal is to detect early whether a candidate or organization has active restrictive alerts at the international level.

Detail Flag Behavior

Technical note: The ?detail=true query parameter does not cause structural changes or expand the information of this endpoint. The API returns the full breakdown of matches (detail) and the internal audit blocks (qc) from the first call.

Response Structure

The response JSON contains the following key elements:

• detail (Findings Array): Contains a dynamic list with all matches found. Each record includes the score property (match strength) and an extrafields object with key metadata such as the issuing authority (authorities), the reference list (list_reference_name), and the official source URL.
• qc (itemsEvaluated): An internal quality control and assurance node that breaks down, in a structured way, the active alerts processed by the rules engine.
